Colorful Wool Roving

Have you ever heard of wool roving? Basically, it’s wool that’s been washed, combed, and carded  for spinning or felting – It’s like a fluffy little strand of clouds you get to play with! And the best part? You can dye it ANY koolaid color you want! We’re talking vivid pinks, electric blues, and sunshine yellows. You can make so many colorful creations with it too, like flowers, creatures, and even 2D felt masterpieces! Want to learn how to dye it? Get this: we’re going to use Kool-Aid. Yes, you read that right.  It’s not just for drinking anymore. This workshop is going to be a blast!  We will start with natural white wool and make our colorful rovings right in our studio, then you can take the dyed wool home to use in your felting, spinning or weaving projects.  Haven’t done this before?
